Dumble-Smith?

An excerpt from Michael Crawford's biography on Pandora radio:

Born in Wiltshire, England in 1942, he began singing in the school choir and while still a teenager, changed his name from Dumble-Smith to the more charismatic Crawford and began working in radio, television and film.

Dumble-Smith? How did I not hear about this before now?

I actually like that name. It's quite unique. :)

i kept reading that as double smith, which appeared in my head as Smith-Smith. and i was like nifty, but Dumble-smith makes me think its an offshoot of the Dumbledore family.
